1. The STED service
STED provides general running, fitness, planning, and recovery guidance. Features may include onboarding, foundation and target plans, daily recommendations, readiness choices, Apple Health workout context, performance estimates, and progress comparisons.
2. Training guidance, not medical advice
STED does not provide medical advice and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent injury or illness. Recommendations are general guidance and cannot account for every health condition or circumstance.
Stop exercising and seek qualified advice if you experience pain, illness, dizziness, chest discomfort, unusual shortness of breath, or another concerning symptom. Consult a qualified professional before beginning or materially changing training when appropriate for your circumstances.
3. Your responsibility
You are responsible for:
- deciding whether any session is appropriate for you;
- using safe routes, equipment, and training conditions;
- providing accurate and current setup information;
- adjusting or stopping when your circumstances require it; and
- using STED lawfully and with reasonable judgement.
No particular fitness improvement, race result, training outcome, or injury-free experience is guaranteed.
4. Your account
You must provide accurate account information and protect your credentials. Do not share access or attempt to use another person’s account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- attempt unauthorised access to STED or another account;
- interfere with, probe, overload, or disrupt the service;
- use automated means to scrape or misuse the service;
- reverse engineer the service except where law permits it;
- submit harmful code or unlawful content; or
- use STED in a way that harms another person.
Access may be restricted or ended when reasonably necessary to protect users, rights, or service operation.
6. Third-party services
Optional features may depend on Apple Health, account infrastructure, hosting, or other third-party services. Their terms, privacy practices, device requirements, and availability may also apply. STED is not responsible for a third-party service outside its reasonable control.
7. Intellectual property
STED, its software, branding, design, text, and related materials are owned by STED or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These terms give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service as intended.
8. Changes and availability
Plans and recommendations may change as your settings, activity, or the service changes. STED may add, change, suspend, or remove features. Reasonable efforts are made to keep the service available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, STED is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties not expressly stated in these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, STED is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Any remaining liability will be limited to the amount, if any, you paid directly for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Account closure
You may stop using STED at any time and permanently delete your account from Profile. Deletion removes associated data that STED is not legally required to retain. The privacy policy explains retention and deletion in more detail.
11. Changes to these terms
STED may update these terms as the service develops. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate in-app, account, or website notice. Continued use after an updated effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
12. General
If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. Applicable consumer protections remain unaffected.
